Wp_options tablet is growing all the time

  • Hi to all!

    I noticied that my table wp_options is growing all the time. I explain you. I use WP-Optimize to reduce and optimize the size of my DB. That’s is OK, but in only 1 hour or less my wp_options table increases its size a lot.

    Before Wp-Optimize my wp_options size is around 80Mb (or more) and after Wp-Optimize is around 47Mb.

    I am using the following Plugins:

    Anti-spam
    Contact Form 7
    Cookie Law Info
    EWWW Image Optimizer
    Fusion Builder
    Fusion Core
    NextGen Gallery
    NextGen Gallery Plus
    iThemes Security
    Pretty Link
    Social Locker | BizPanda
    SSL Insecure Content Fixer
    Thrive Leads
    W3 Total Cache
    WP-Optimize
    Yoast SEO

    If I don’t active W3TC wp_options tablet doesn’t increase its Dize.

    Any idea? What could be the problem?

    Do you have access to phpMyAdmin? If yes, check if the table is “MyISAM” or “InnoDB”.

    Yes, I have. My table is MyISAM. Is it correct?

    If your table size increases again, you can check if phpmyadmin shows you an overhead for the wp_options table. If yes, you can change the table engine to innodb to get rid of this.
