wp_options: Table is marked as crashed in WP 3.9.1

  • appreciate any help!
    ran define('WP_ALLOW_REPAIR', true);

    and came back with
    wp_options: Table is marked as crashed

    so i tried searching the forums and found some solutions

    went into PHPMYADMIN and realise i have no tables under my database so i cant even repair them to begin with. i have another database called “information_schema” with tables like

    CHARACTER_SETS
    COLLATIONS
    COLLATION_CHARACTER_SET_APPLICABILITY
    COLUMNS
    COLUMN_PRIVILEGES
    ENGINES
    EVENTS
    FILES

    no WP files at all.
