  • Hey Porris,

Do you have any backups of the site before this happened? If not, wp_options stores all your site settings, theme settings, and plugin settings and will need to re re-built. :/

If you do have a backup, you can just grab the table from the backup and import the table into the database.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the quick reply.
That’s really bad I’m travelling and I don’t have access to the back up.
I’ll guess I will have to rebuild

Any idea what could cause that problem?

I’m nor sure how this could have happened. Deleting a table can happen accidentally sometimes. I would check if anyone else that has access to your hosting didn’t accidentally delete anything.

Rebuilding your site may take some time, the backup would be the quickest route. I hope you get this solved quickly, I know how stressful this can be!

How it could have happened all depends on what you actually meant by:

I tried to fix and optimze the database

    Can you be more precise?

    Hi Mark,
I tried to open the admin page got this message and followed the instructions
” One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.”
