@webdesignhelper – Are you using the most recent version of NextGEN Gallery (2.0.30 did implement a fix for most of the issues revolving around this problem) … there may also be another plugin conflicting with NextGEN Gallery causing this issue.

Have you checked your other active plugins for conflicts?

already upgraded to 2.0.30, also upgraded WP to 3.6.1, and tried turning of all other plugins apart from ‘NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati’ and it makes no difference.

The number of records in the wp_options table is increasing with every page re-load.

now updated everything related to NextGEN and still getting the problem?

@webdesignhelper – We have only seen this issue continuing when there is another plugin conflict … would you be able to send us a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) on this so we can get a closer look at the issue?

Please include log in credentials for your WordPress installation and FTP credentials for the WordPress installation folder, too.

    Thanks!

due to us needing the site to go live for the client, we have been forced to remove all the NextGEN elements from the site and source alternative plug-ins. As such we can not leave the site in a situation were this problem is still visible for long enough for it to be used for testing.

After many years of using NextGEN we hope we can come back it to again at some point in the future.
