    Hi there

I’m using WP Job Manager for 1 year and found some problems :

    1) back office of WordPress is very very slow. It takes like 10 seconds to activate / desactivate a plugin … I’ve got a dedicated server with several WordPress installed, the only one that is slow is the one with WP Job Manager … but front office is OK

    2) wp_options is huge ! 822 Mb before cleaning, 8,6 Mb after cleaning (using WP Sweep and Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions)… I have 1000 jobs published, no resume, and less than 5000 visitors per month. I have to clean wp_options every month because it keeps growing to 800 Mb

any idea how can I solve it ?

    thank you

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @parmentier ,

We have replied via email to this issue:

The speed of the site will depend largely on the server and PHP configuration, which is something only your host can really assist with. This falls outside the scope of what we can support here.

Additionally, you are unlikely to see great speeds on shared hosting. If performance is a major concern, I’d recommend looking at managed hosting (like Flywheel or WP Engine) or even considering a dedicated server (like a Linode) to give you full control over the server and PHP configuration.

Where ever you decide to host, I’d recommend reaching out to them for assistance in optimizing the PHP pipeline as that is usually the bottleneck on dynamic pages.

    Best,
    Cena
