wp_option table crashes

  • Hello,
    I hope this is the right place to post this problem. First, thank you for this amazing plugin. I have a website, a site mainly based on wp_movielibrary plugin. Yesterday, after importing few movies, the database was shrinked from 2gb to 12mb and the site went down. I saw the problem was related to wp_option table that was corrupted.

    I managed to restore it from a previous backup, however now if I save a movie or if I try to import a new movie, the site crashes. The problem is still the wp_option table. When I try to repair or optimize the database (or just the xp_option table) via phpmyadmin or via wordpress, the site immediately crashes. I tried to reinstall wordpress, but the problem remains.The real problem is my knowledge of databases is very very limited. What can I do to solve this problem? Any idea?

    Hi felixlamour,

    Wow, that’s a problem. Are you running anything other than WPMovieLibrary that could cause this? Do you have any clue as to what exactly is corrupted in the wp_options table?

    thank you for the answer. I disabled all the plugins except for WPMovieLibrary. It crashes when I try to import or save a movie. Do you think is it possible to repair the table?
