    I was going through the support formun looking for an answer related to changing the senders name. Right now the default for me always comes up as WordPress.

    Using your plugin for a specific task I was able to change this. If I add this to my functions file will it override the functionality in your plugin. I like that I can customize things in your plugin but I would also like to change the default notifications to not say WordPress as the default.

    I have read the article and I know it says the following.

    Please be aware though, that by doing this, you may globally affect all notifications that WordPress sends out, possibly including those from BNFW too. Please test appropriately before adding the below code to your website.

    In your experience does it override the custom settings of the plugin?

    Thanks for your message.

    In my experience, yes, it does override. This is because WordPress only allows one override for many things relating to emails and as such, whichever one with the highest function priority will take precedent.
