I’ve seen numerous topics on this that are never really resolved or are just too complex in explanation. I need someone to really break this thing down I can understand where I need to go to fix this problem.

I recently installed the WP-Member plugin for my website so that I could set up restricted pages for members only. The plugin works beautifully aside from the fact that THE EMAILS AREN’T SENDING!!!

I did some preliminary troubleshooting to see what could be the issue and found that the WP_MAIL tag may not be functioning properly. Since I didn’t know where to begin looking for the wp_mail tag, I just installed another plugin for emails. And that works perfectly as well. I am able to send test messages without any issues.

But when it comes to sending registration/password emails through the WP-Member plugin, I still get nothing. Is there any way to configure the plugins to work together to form some super hybrid plugin or do I have to adjust the WordPress Mail settings altogether? If I have to adjust the settings, do you mind walking me through the process? No other forum topic has been any help.

    Thanks in advance!

  • I’m having the same problem, but only with mail going to one server. It just disappears. I’ve added WP Mail Form II and configured it with my own name and email address but it hasn’t helped. Password resets aren’t delivered from the wp-login.php?action=lostpassword screen or from wp-members.

I was finally able to get mine working. To be honest, I’m not sure what it took to get it working. I just started messing around with it and eventually everything fell into place.

I tried Googling some common SMTP settings and messing around with my sender emails through WordPress and the Email plugin and eventually it worked out.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be more help to you teplitz!
