wp_list_categories does not count the number of records

    Hello! Help please. I create categories for attachments. Example: dog category and boxer subcategory. the dog category does not display the number of entries( 0 entries), and the boxer category displays the number. Output is via wp_list_categories. I understand that wp_list_categories does not consider attachments for a General category. But I don’t know how to fix it.

    You have to select both the parent (dog) and the child (boxer) category for the images to count them both.
