wp_get_linksbyname

Has this template tag really been replaced since it was deprecated?

The codex relating to this whole links/blogroll manager is quite misleading. If anyone able to shed some light on the situation I am happy to fix the codex. It’d also be nice to know what the long term strategy is…

I realise it probably has something to do with the separate development paths. I’ve chosen to stick with the blogroll version and changing the admin menu to say links to help my clients. But it’s a real shame the template tag i used to use wp_get_linksbyname is gone.

It seems now i have to know the id for the category to list them – how annoying!

If it ain’t broke – why are we breaking things?
