wp_get_archives ‘FORMAT’

  • I don’t know much about php but from what I’ve read I should be able to make wp_get_archives display as a “drop down box“.
    This is what I have.
    ##########################################
    ??
    The ‘type‘ works and the ‘post_count‘ works but I can’t get the ‘format‘ option working?
    From what I understand the format defalts to html so by choosing format=option I should get a drop down box?
    Y/N?
    I’m sure I’m getting something.. I am but a newbie.
    A couple of pointers would be appreciated.
