wp_editor() No Buttons

  • I have been having one heck of a time getting the wp_editor() function to work on the front end. Is there ANYTHING else I have to do other than:

    wp_editor('the content', 'theid' );

    Meaning, do I have to enqueue any script, or ANYTHING else? As it stands now, the HTML button doesn’t work, nor does the media upload, nor do the buttons.

    When you click the HTML button, you get: “switchEditors is not defined”
