WP_Cron daily after two or 3 days

Hi all,

I understand how WP_Cron works, but I still have one doubt:

If a schedule an action to run once a day and my website have no visits for, say, 3 days, when the action is finally triggered will it run my callback only one time, or will it run 3 times, for the days in the past it didnt?
