Hi I just downloaded WP 1 day ago and was having a huge issue with it installing. I read somewhere to make sure that the php coding was closed and sure enough the wp_config page was missing the “?>” at the bottom of the page. I don’t know if I was the only one with that issue, but I figured it needed posting.

  • The closing ?> isn’t needed on PHP files and has been deliberately omitted from the wp-config.php file.
