  • Are you trying to install the plugin on Multisite? The plugin doesn’t officially support Multisite and might display errors like that if you network activate it.

Instead, try this: deactivate the plugin, delete it (using the “Delete” link on the “Plugins” page, not FTP), reinstall it and then activate it separately on each site.

Hi Janis! Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, I appreciate it…I actually did not use FileZilla to remove the plugin but rather follow some of the instructions you provided in previous posts; Re-install => activate etc. and No I am not using it on Multi-site! it is only on one website! I am almost wondering if I should install it back again then head to my database tables and remove the plugin tables and use FTP to remove the folder? I don’t know…Any more advices would be appreciated. Thank you!

That’s strange, if it’s just one website then reinstalling should be enough – at least in theory. The plugin is supposed to automatically recreate missing database tables when you activate it.

When you reinstalled it, did the wp_blc_links table show up in phpMyAdmin? Or is it that the did actually exist, but you still got errors like “wp_blc_links doesn’t exist”?

In this case, manually removing the tables and then reinstalling the plugin might be worth a shot.

    Janis,

Thanks for a quick response! This might help us better understand the issue! I just installed and activated the plugin again and made a screen shot: Let’s take a look at my error_log structure:

Let me know if you see anything I haven’t,

    Much appreciated!

Sorry, that log doesn’t seem to have anything relevant that you haven’t already mentioned.

How about those wp_blc_... database tables, though? Did you remove them before reinstalling the plugin, and some/all of them get recreated?

    Janis,

Here is what solved the issue for me:

I installed the plugin from the dashboard area and activate it, then I went to my “phpmyadmin” area and deleted the tables that are related to the plugin before I went back and disactivated the plugin and removed it.

    Thanks for all your help,
