WP4 Portfolio Tags

  • Hi,
    with latest Polylang 1.5.5 on WP 4.0 the

      new Tag

    type when adding a new or editing a Portfolio page don’t be saved when click on Save.
    In fast editing mode while adding a new Tag (Never added or used before) and than click on Save the fast edit window don’t go away and don’t save the tag.
    Even after 2/3 attemp click Save with same word as tag it go aways but don’t show tag assigned to the selected Portofolio but in the Portfolio Tags list come up two tags with same basename, the second with added at the end (-en).
    If I disable polylang plugin, all this actions work properly and saved fine everytime without problems.
    It is a bug of polylang with WP 4.0?

    Any suggestions?

    Hi!

    I have no problems with tags in WP40 + Polylang 1.5.5. Maybe a conflict with your theme or a plugin.

    thank for your fast reply!
    I want to make a clarification, because in my previous post the tags have cut some text.
    I mean the Portfolio Tags have problems, while Post Tags haven’t problem.

    However the problem can be my total theme.

    Any suggestions about debugging this problem?
    Can I enable some sort of error logs in WP?

    Your Portfolio tags are coming from either your theme or another plugin which I certainly did no test.

    You can add this to you wp-config.php

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

    PHP errors will be logged in wp-content/debug.log

    You can use Firebug to debug Javascript.
