WP2.0 post.php save dialog box opens
-
it asks me where I want to save the post.php file
Maybe it is because of posting for several hours, but I’ve
noticed a slowdown in posts after hitting submit, even though the live blog page can be F5’d to show the updates.Apparently it is the DB update I’m talking about, not sure.
I’ve heard of the image caching, was that built into 2.0 (I just realized it’s still beta) or should I try the plugin for this? Nothing else on my box has slowed down so I don’t think it is a Windows cache problem, any ideas? TIA
ot- I used to use the Preview plugin, loved it, now I use the built-in Preview option but it falls short when editing previously live posts, i.e. preview doesn’t matter, it updates what is live everytime so there is no preview really before submit because every submit goes live (although this may have been the case before 2.0, but still, it would be nice to be able to edit and preview live posts also, not just new ones)… more concerned about post.php problem right now though thx
