    Hello,

I have been creating custom static pages for my site and I cannot get the WYSIWYG HTML editor in WP to work properly. If I hand code my HTML in the HTML view and then go to the WYSIWYG view all my tags are removed and the HTML reformatted. This is very aggrvating.

Should I just not use the WYSIWYG editor and just use the HTML view? Is there some setting I can turn-off so WP will leave my HTML alone?

    Mike

Switching back and forth between the visual and html editors will mess up your code. These two editors do things very differently and don’t work well together. If you will be adding your own code, I’d recommend that you only use the html editor and disable the visual editor in your dashboard profile.
