• Hi,

I have trouble logging in to my wp. It has no error message. I’m sure that my username and pw were all correct. I already contacted my hosting provider and they said that it appears to be properly configured and the problem doesn’t seem to come from the database. And they found no errors being logged into the error log. They have re-checked the database and also re-checked the wp-config. They suspect that this could be due to the username/pass format.
At this point they can only suggest reinstalling or searching a solution from the software provider at www.remarpro.com. Anyone knows a solution about this? I don’t want to reinstall ahead because maybe there is still a solution.

    Thank you.

Just to check have you tried login in via Incognito mode in Firefox/Chrome?

Have you tried resetting your password?

If this works then it might be a cookie issue with your browser, failing that it’s worth disabling your plugins, as you can’t get to the admin area the best way to do this is using your FTP/SFTP client rename the plugin folders inside wp-content/plugins this will deactivate each one you rename.

    Try login in again.

I just tried to log in via incognito mode in Chrome. And now, I’m having this, https://diggress.com/wp-login.php which is “Error 403: Forbidden”.

I don’t know why I had that. But before I contacted the hosting provider, it was not like that, I can view the wp log in page.

No, I didn’t tried resetting my password. I wanted to try changing now but as I said I’m having the error 403: forbidden.

403 Forbidden, is usually server related, assuming you don’t have any security plugins enabled, I would recontact your host and check with them they haven’t done any changes to your site.

Also if you have access to your server logs it’s worth checking your error log to see if there is any errors. (Prior, to the 403)
