• Hello

We are facing an issue with some of our websites, the problem is that index.php and .htaccess are automatically re-generated and we are unable to fix it despite running the Scan and cleanup. Due to which the following consequences are being faced regarding those websites

      Unable to access dashboard
Unable to update themes, plugins and wordpress core
Unable to access (or) upload images or Media in the Media Library

The sites return 403 Forbidden error when forcibly performed manual update via backend(FTP)

While we informed the issue to the Hosting provider, they are recommending to purchase their security tool instead of helping us in a formal manner without any incurring costs. Is there any way in which it can be resolved with some manual configuration by the site administrator or we have to go for the security tool which we hoped to go with as a last resort only.

Please help with this issue. Thank you
