WP Video Lightbox v1.3 not working IE8 and IE7

Recently updated to version 1.3 of WP Video Lightbox plugin and it no longer works in IE 7 and 8. All seems fine with Safari, FF, and Chrome.
When viewing in IE 7 or 8 the lightbox appears but the video does not. The video control bar will appear on mouseover and advances but there is no visual – just a black box.
