WP Version 5.9.1 puts sidebars on pages

    Hi,

    noticed after updating to WP 5.9.1 that sidebars were everywhere on the site when none used to be. I had to go into each page and post to make it full width/contained. This has also happened on the WPOcean theme as well. Is it just me??

  • Hi,

    You can go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Global > Site Layout: No sidebar, to remove the sidebar on your site.

    @longnguyen89 thanks…I’m pretty sure I would have checked that first, plus I never had them on there anyway before the update for WP happened, so something changed after that. Whether that option was already set or not, I can’t remember now but it should have been.
