WP using crazy amount of resources

    My wp is using crazy amount of resources. I hardly get 500 users per day but still my CPU usage normally gets above 100
    It all was going well but then suddenly the site inde.php stopped loading. I checked and came to know that the website was using more than required resources for loading the main index page
    I deactivated all the plugins and was able to find that half of my main page was now loading and all the sub pages were loading completely.
    I am really anoyed by this
    I am using elegant themes,
    My plugins are
    jetpack, redirection, syntax higliter, visitor maps and who is online, ip Ban, portfolio slideshow, user avatar, wordpress db backup, wp-mail smtp, yoast seo, elegant theme, yarp related post, w3 super cache, antispam bee, simple captcha,
