I saw in an earlier topic a comment that the WP Users can be set up in a bi-directional relationship with another CPT. However, the comment only said that it could be done but did not specify how to do it. I have tried to do so with no luck, despite having set up other bi-directional relationships with other pairs of CPTs.
I tried to do the setup by extending the standard WP Users table and adding an appropriate bi-directional field to support the relationship to the CPT. However, when I set up the bi-directional field in the other CPT I was able to select ‘Users’ from the list, but no corresponding fields were shown to establish the link.
Are there special requirements for setting up such a link?

    Hi @jjci

Do you mean you’ve set the relationship as a table relation instead of a User Object relationship?
If so, please switch to the default User relationship (Under “Other WP Objects”).
Other than that it works exactly the same as when you relate two CPT’s to eachother.

    Cheers, Jory

Thanks for your very prompt response.

I will update my setup and then do some preliminary testing. Will advise results.

    Thanks,
    JJ
