Hi, when I attempt to update WP User Avatar Pro from 4.1.6 to 4.2.0 on the WordPress dashboard, an error occurs: “Update package not available”

Where can I download the update for WP User Avatar Pro?

    Thanks,
    Keith

  • Hi @maspweb

I have noticed that WP Avatar Pro is acquired by ProfilePress right now.

    https://www.wpuseravatar.com/

I am not sure how they will continue to provide this free plugin, I do not think they will reply to this support forum from now on.

I bought this plugin via CodeCanyon and shame that it is not there anymore…

Still, this plugin might provide from other company and it seems it would be “add-on” for other plugin. We shall wait for the next step.

Thanks mic75, I’ll await news. You don’t happen to have the 4.2.0 updated downloaded by chance?

    Hi @maspweb

    Sorry for this delay.

I have the latest version (5.0.1) and think this is the last version. But I am afraid to say that I should not share the actual file and it could be illegal to do so.

    Really sorry about this…

Fair enough. Hopefully the new company will honor previously paid customers.

Send us an email and we are more than happy to send you the latest pro plugin.

We’ve done so for many other customers.

    Hi,

I am using the Astra theme and Memberpress with Learndash. I am using Memberpress to manage registrations, logins and profiles. And I am using WP User Avatar Pro with the [avatar] shortcode in the header and the [avatar_upload] shortcode for users to manage their profile image. The problem I have is that when a subscriber user logs in they see the admin’s image instead of their profile in the header [avatar]. From the subscriber user’s [avatar_upload] the correct user image is showing but the admin’s image shows from the [avatar] image.

I hope you can help me to fix this problem.

    Thanks!
    Mark
