WP used to support Tsunami Relief
-
As part of my curriculum at school, my friend and I are required to do an overseas internship this summer. However, it’s not funded.
Therefore, I’ve put together a WP-driven site to raise support for our trip. It’s called TwoHelp.org and is located here:
https://www.twohelp.orgWe’ll be in Khao Lak, Thailand, working with a Thai NGO called the Tsunami Volunteer Group. Khao Lak is the area of Thailand that was most heavily devestated by the tsunami — there are still thousands of displaced people in the area, and only about 20% of the local infrastructure is intact. Alexis and I will be in Khao Lak for the months of June and July, combining our experience in public health with our professional skills to help the people of Thailand.
Take a look at the site! Thanks to the WP community for supporting my many questions over the past year, and to Borja Fernandez for his wonderful ‘Pool’ theme.
Donate if you can! If you can’t, then sign up for our listserv and/or help spread the word by linking to us from your site.
Thanks!
Clay
