• Just as the title reads, I updated WP-Touch today, and now the mobile theme no longer works.

  • What exactly happens? Are you running a cache plugin?

Yes, I’m running W3 Total Cache and Hyper Cache. Not a good combo?

The mobile version of the website doesn’t work on my iOS device anymore, after I did the update.

Unless it hasn’t been working for awhile, I only tried loading my page after installing the update.

I have the same problem … some days ago I installed this great WP Touch plugin and worked fine … but today after the update it is not working.

I use W3 Total Cache as before.

    Please check it and help.

    Thank you for your time.

Sounds like you might need to flush your caches— have you excluded the mobile user agents WPtouch uses from your cache plugins?

I am not understanding, I install it , but how can I know it is working or not?

You need to flush the caches for your cache plugin. It is likely still holding on to a cache from your desktop theme.

Ok, this is dumb but I uploaded the free version. I began building it and want to see what it’s going to look like. How do I do that? Isn’t it active? Do I need the pro version to see my work as I build the plugin? I don’t want to pick some wonky colors and not be able to see what’s what.

p.s. I don’t want to pay someone to figure this out for me. I’m just learning how to use visual editor on my site and I think I can figure this out but I seem to not be able to figure out how to see my work.

i was having similar issues with version 1.9.37, but after having updated to 1.9.38, both desktop browsers and mobile browsers get the mobile version of my blog. i’ve cleared all cache and even turned my caching plugins off to test – no go. please check and fix, ty!

    runnergirl47,

You can preview your website by using the user agent switcher in Safari or Firefox.

WPtouch Pro features an easy way to preview your website’s appearance in any browser during testing with “Developer Mode”.

    ce_rob,

Are you running any cache plugins?
