  • It’s not working for me either on the Socrates theme or the default 2010 and 2011 themes. It works fine on my main domain at https://www.poppameth.com, but not on the subdomain https://darkling.poppameth.com. I don’t get an error, it just doesn’t seem to load at all.

@briegger, make sure you do not have your WPtouch home page set to the Static front page in your WordPress Reading settings.

@sysopsavant, your non-mobile theme may use advanced functions (such as custom post types or custom page templates) that are inaccessible by the free version of WPtouch. The plugin is fully compatible with TwentyTen, TwentyEleven, and TwentyTwelve themes so you’ll want to check for plugin conflicts that may be occurring. The simplest way to isolate which plugin(s) may be contributing to the trouble, deactivate all except WPtouch from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data, then test.

If WPtouch functions well, you may then enable the rest of your plugins one at a time, repeating the process, until you can identify which is/are causing the problem.

Yippeeeeeee!!!!! Thanks so much for getting back to me. This small, small, small setting TOTALLY worked!! Thanks again ??

I totally disabled all plugins and switched to 2011 theme and WPTouch did work, but only when logged in. I cleared the browser cache and paused CloudFlare to no avail. When logged out it simple would not load the mobile theme on either site. I’ve since re-enabled all plugins, ditched Quick Cache and WP Minify and installed W3 Total Cache instead. I’m letting it handle switching in the mobile theme now and that seems to be working fine.

    Thanks anyway.
