WP Touch Mobile – Header does not scale down

I am working on building my first wordpress site and it is going relatively well. I added the WP Touch Mobile Plugin so my site is able to be viewed on mobile devices. When I try and access my site on a mobile device, all the content scales down and is viewable perfectly….except for the header. It retains its size, it seems like. It will not scale down to fit within the mobile device screen size.

I uploaded a .png image for my header…maybe it has something to do with that? I appreciate the assistance in advance!
