• I have tried this three times. I have a fresh installation and as soon as I make a new post the page goes blank and my blog disappears. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

wow this forum is SO helpful.

I was going to suggest a few things before I noticed that last post. *sigh*

I apologize for my frustration. It strikes me as silly that a simple function like posting on a blog will render the blog useless.

Please help, I welcome your ideas.

21 hours and no one has a suggestion?

When you say the page goes blank – if you view the source of the page, is there absolutely nothing there?

Do you have any plugins installed?

Did you configure the general options under WordPress for your site and blog url?

I have seen a lot of things with WordPress, but never a blank page unless there was some sort of plugin involved. Either that, or a problem with the settings.

There are a couple of things that I noticed that might be going on. If you’re host has upgraded to a new version of PHP, and you’re using the WP-Cache plugin, then you’ll get a blank page when you post something new. I turned off WP-Cache, and that took care care of the problem. There is a fix here, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Aliester: Thank you for helping. Yes, when I view the source of the page it is completely blank. I have no plugins installed and was running the default theme. I believe the settings were correct, but I’ll try again just to confirm.

After making a post i am unable to access ANYTHING related to wordpress on the site (can’t even login to the dashboard). The database shows the post in the table, but the site is unresponsive.

TerranceDC: According to phpinfo my server is running 4.3.11 and mySQL 4.1.20. Furthermore, I am not using WP-Cache. Thanks for your help though!
