WP to Twitter is not working.

  • Hi.

    I installed WP to Twitter plugin but it doesn’t update Twitter when i write a post on WordPress. I think everything is ok, passwords etc. But it doesn’t update my Twitter account.

    I’m using WordPress 2.6.5.

  • I’m about to release an updated version; I recommend updating to the new version and then trying again. Hopefully this will make a difference to your problem, whatever it may be!

    I upgraded to new version but it doesn’t solve my problem. When i create a new post/page it’s doesn’t send a shout on my Twitter account.

    Very strange… There are no error is displaying. But it’s not working.

    Can you tell me what your posting method is? QuickPress, standard post, scheduled post, post by email, XMLRPC? There are various settings within the WP-to-Twitter settings which control whether many of those specific methods are allowed, so checking your settings might make a difference.

    Either way, my knowing which method is failing also helps me debug!

    I’m using standard posting method. I checked my settings. Everything is ok. Maybe this plugin doesn’t work on WordPress 2.6.5?

    It does work with 2.6.5 (at least, on my server), so I don’t think that’s the problem. Email me through my website – I’ll ask some more questions, and may want you to send me some screenshots.
