Wp to Twitter Doesn’t work with Postie

    Hello,

    I use Postie plugin to auto post my content. I start using WP to Twitter so it will tweet as well, however it doesn’t work. There is no error code or something. It is simply not tweeting it. When I create a content manually it tweets.

    I did some A/B testing and I couldn’t find the solution.

    Not sure what other data I can provide. Please ask.

    I suspect that WP to Twitter assumes that the only way to create a new post is through the editor which of course is not what Postie does.

    The fix for this is to create a Postie AddOn which calls the correct method in WP to Twitter during the postie_post_after action.

    You need to look at the WP to Twitter source code or talk to their support forum and ask them what to call or to update their plugin to be compatible by hooking the publish action.
