WP to Facebook

I have been asked to maintain an art club’s website using WP. Someone in the club wants to have things we post on the club’s website to appear in the club’s facebook. I have tried a widget WP Facebook but could not figure out how it works. I hoped I could create a post or a page, put a code in it and have it sent to facebook or have everything created with a category facebook go to facebook.
Any ideas. We do not have a lot of money. I just want to save people work. Why enter something manually into the newsletter, then on the website and finally in facebook?
