WP themes that validate?

  • Hi, I’m interested in finding a WP theme that is two columns, sidebar on the right, widget ready that also validates to XHTML 1.0 on the w3 site. I downloaded one off the theme browser that was ranked a 5 but had errors galore. Anyone know of any? Thanks a bunch!

    Find the theme you like. Then, before installing it, go to the theme URI (the theme’s web page). Once there, check for xhtml validity (and any other qualifications you desire). If it satisfies you, then dl/install…

    Most of the time, if it doesn’t validate, it’s a little tweak that just needs kicking into place. Check the errors if it fails and see if you can quickly resolve it, too–or ask help to do so, rather than discarding the entire show.
