Are sponsored themes not allowed now?

Umm, no, but I wasn’t the one that raised the issue, you were. I just thought that you were being friendly and letting me know of a potential problem. I didn’t realize that you may have had an agenda.

sponsored themes are fine, though I’d think frowned upon in the free/public libraries. certainly, if they aren’t GPL-compliant, they shouldn’t be up on themes.wp.com — and GPL-compliant means people can remove the sponsoring if they want… ??

agenda, lol, Yes, its letting people know what they are clicking through to. wow, thats some agenda, huh?

Ive no problem per se, with sponsored themes, and to his/her credit, he/she does indicate that his/her themes are sponsored on the web site. Its just nice to let ppl know before hand.

Thanks David. Every theme I do is GPL and people are free to do whatever they want to any of the links or code. That’s what GPL is all about anyway. Thanks for being open minded about things.

wooami>> There’s nothing secret about the links at all. They’re down there for everyone to see.

wooami>> I shall do that in future then.
