wp text ads plugin

Hi all, has anyone had any luck using the wp text ads plugin, its been drivig me nuts trying to get it working. Got the widgets working but how to get ads into it is beyond me. It sounds very useful and would like to use it, even tho’ if you want limitless ads you have to pay for the plugin, which is ok, I’m all for someone makin’ some money if a lot of work has gone into it. Maybe i’m just gettin’ too old for it, but this plugin is really frustrating.
