WP-Testing FATAL ERROR: (wp47nlxb_posts)

Seems like some conflict with other plugin.

In the meantime try to deactivate/activate wp-testing — may be it will clear table cache.

But I think it’s another plugin/theme conflict. Try to find it by disabling one-by-one.
Start with switching to standard theme and checking if issue repeats.

I have activated twenty seventeen theme, deactivated all plugins and then only -reactivated wp-testing. I also changed browser to MS Edge from Chrome and then Updated the sample test from WordPress. I still get the error.

@konfyt I was able to emulate (not repeat) this issue locally.

Seems like some other plugin adds field named “page_template” and it then crashes all. Even after disabling such plugin.

Anyway I think the issue is in wp-testing. I will research it later and hotfix today.

I am still stuck. Wiped everything and restarted the site. Activated each plugin seperate and tested wp-testing plugin. Worked fine.

Then I installed Elementor and still all okay. I then changed the Style to the Elementor Canvas theme which is basically a blank theme. I now have the same error message.

Could it be that the blank theme creates a conflict and what should I do to fix it? If there is a fix. I really need to get this plugin working. And yet I also want to continue using elementor.

Thank you for your efforts. I decided to intensely spend time in searching for the problem, also increasing my own knowledge in this regard as I really like where the plugin is going.

IDENTIFYING THE PROBLEM
No need to delete or remove any plugin or reset database. It took me 3 days to figure this out.

As mentioned I am using Elementor Page Builder. In Elementor General Settings there are three Post Types choices are available, of which Post, Pages, Tests.

!DO NOT TICK TESTS!

WORK AROUND
The problem lies in the use of the Elementor Canvas theme, which is a blank theme, with no attributes. I am not sure how things work, but once I have un-ticked “TESTS type”, the error discontinued and Update or Publish worked again without directing to the error page.

I hope this gives you some basis to work with.

FUTURE REQUEST
It would be quite nice to use Elementor to include the plugin into their design plugin. Or just use shortcodes.

CONCLUDING
The wp-testing plugin can become an industry standard and I am going to test it in all aspects. The web page currently in development is based around in-depth psychometric and personal assessments, which is meant to create a database of random studies, in order to create a global pool. Hope the plugin can e implemented throughout the growth of the database.
