Moved site to a new host, but re-installed wordpress and transferred everything via xml export. Also manually ftp’d plugins directory but lost all my tables in WP Table Reloaded!

Any way I can copy them over from old database with re-creating them all?

    Please help me out!

  • Hi Rick,

yes, that is what the “WP-Table Reloaded Dump File” feature is for.

You can find it on the “Plugin Options” screen. Basically, what it does, is to create a backup of all tables and settings of WP-Table Reloaded in a file to download. That file can then be re-imported on the new site, so that after that all tables and settings are restored.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Ahhh! Tobias, you are a ninja!

This worked perfectly and saved me TONS of work. Does this plug-in shoot lasers too?

Thank you for your foresight, and quick response!

    Rick

    Hi Rick,

nice to hear that you like the feature ??

And I’m still working on the laser idea ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Oh My God

i have just noticed for some reason that most of my tables are gone but a few are ok

on the ones missing just say no name/no desc and in the customers site where the table should be:- [table “9” seems to be empty /]

i have loads of lost tables and data and i have used my database backups yet no change in this plugin – doesnt the tables get saved when a main database backup is done?????

also on the table pages that arent working there are errors saying:-
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/mrstephe/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-table-reloaded/views/view-edit.php on line 119

loads of these under data manipulation on the bad tables yet ok on those working?????

i do hope you can help etc as there is so much data from my customer that would take so long to re-input and have to guess the content etc etc as i thought the database would have held the backups

hope you can please please help as im not looking good to my customer at moment

    many thanks
    steve
