• Hello everyone!

I have a page where only a subscriber and an administrator both could view. Is there any ways where I could make the Tabletools buttons (Copy to clipboard,Save as CSV, Save for Excel, and Print) accesible or visible only by an admin and not by a subscriber?

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    thanks for the question.

Unfortunately, I don’t really know a good solution for this. Your best chance might be to convert the page into a page template, where you can then use PHP. With that, you can call some WordPress functions to find out if the user is an admin. Then you could modify the Shortcode (or actually the Template Tag function for WP-Table Reloaded) to include TableTools in those cases.
So, this solution is not really that comfortable ??

Just as a side remark: Not showing the TableTools buttons does not stop a subscriber to copy or print your table (if you are trying to prevent that). They just would have a little bit more work.

That’s not really comfortable.. But still I would try.

And Tobias, thank you for your remark! ??
