wp-table by Alex Rabe modification question

Hi,

I am using Alex’s wp-table plugin for a site for a time schedule.

I can easily put in the teachers name in the various slots, but I am trying to make it real easy for every user that needs to change the schedule.

I want to add buttons on the side bar that when clicked will place the name and the a href link info in the selected box. See photoshopped image here.

This way when the table is viewed each teacher has a link associated with their name. Clicking it will go to the teachers profile page.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this.

I would have posted on Alex’s forum but he has disabled it for the time being.
