WP Sweep: FATAL ERROR

    I received a WARNING: FATAL ERROR when attempting to update WP Sweep.

    It crashed the website. Had to enter through cpanel and rename WP Sweep directory to “IGNORE WP Sweep” – which allowed the website to function.

    I removed the WP Sweep plugin and attempted to reinstall, the following message occurred.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    What version of PHP are you on?

    Currently using 5.2

    The system’s default version of PHP is 5.4 via Hostgator

    Sorry, PHP 5.2 is not being supported.
