WP Supersized upgrade breaks link

I like this plugin, but the recently updated 1.2 plugin just displays a loading spinner. I tried a factory reset on the settings and sticking my slides folder in the default location, but no luck.
seems to get a PHP error on line 476 of WPSupersized.php
