WP Super Cache Install Problems

  • I’m having difficulties following the readme instructions of WP Super Cache.

    Edit wp-config.php and make sure the WP_CACHE define is deleted,

    In my wp-config, wp_cache line reads:

    define('WP_CACHE', true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager

    So what do I do with it? Delete the whole line? Do I really need to follow everything in this instructions?

  • I ll suggest to first take a back up of the wp-config file and then delete that line and see whether the error is solved.

    Thanks, it’s not an error. I’m just following the instructions in readme that comes with this plugin.

    Well, still more challenge. It’s telling me to edit .htaccess under my wordpress directory, but I don’t have this file. Do I need to create it?
