WP Super Cache – adds extra index.html.gz and causes 404 errors in webmastertool

  • Hello,

    we are using WP Super Cache plugin in our wordpress site (all up-to-date) and we noticed that the plugin adds /index.html.gz suffix in the urls, causing 404 errors. That is very bad because these links are indexed as such by Google as you understand. What can be done about it?
