I installed wp super cache and my blog went completely blank. I tried to access my account and admin through www.remarpro.com to deactivate and my user name is no longer registered! I no longer have access to anything and I need help.

The blog I need help with is purplsoul.com.

  • In order to deactivate the plugin, you’ll need to access your site via FTP.
Log onto your FTP account and go to the wp-content/plugins folder and delete the super cache plugin.

Once deleted hopefully you should be able to get to your admin.

    Thanks for the response.

The problem I’m having is that my password doesn’t work anymore, I can’t actually log in to www.remarpro.com. I’ve tried resetting but nothing happens.

Occasionally I can view my dashboard (usually I just get a blank screen) but if I click on anything I get directed to another blank page.

When I try accessing through FTP and I need to enter my password and it doesn’t connect – it’s like my account isn’t there anymore and I’ve got no idea what to do, I can’t even contact anyone from WordPress to sort out!

    Any ideas??

Use FileZilla and your server login, not an FTP account that cannot get past your site’s files. I believe that should get you above anything the cache has affected, then try what Christine has suggested.

Your www.remarpro.com has nothing to do with this. If your password wasn’t working, you wouldn’t be able to leave a comment on the forums, so that’s not the issue.

What you need is the login to your FTP which your hosting provider can provide you.
