WP Store Locator periodically reseting all settings

  • Hello,

    from time to time the store locator plugin just deletes all of its settings on our website biofamous.net and we have to manually configure the plugin from scratch.

    Why is this happening? How can we fix it?

    I never heard of this before, and not sure why it happens in the first place.

    How often does this happen? Are you comfortable with code / phpMyAdmin?

    Thank you for your answer.
    It happens about once a week, now it has happened for the second time.
    We have a bit of understanding with code / PhpMyAdmin.
    We changed a few things in the functions.php file, in order to have additional fields in the info box for the store locator.

    Please check again, maybe you will find a conflict somewhere.

    Can you try and repair the options table in PhpMyAdmin and see if that makes a difference.

    Do make a backup of the database first.

    Can you ask your host if there’s a script running that does something with the database once a week?
