WP still sends out standard emails

  • I installed this plugin because I don’t want to use WP’s standard emails in English on a Dutch website, but there are two things that I can’t get to work like I want:

    1. WP still sends out its standard emails. The plugin’s emails are just send out as well rather than instead of;
    2. I would like to have an email in which WP generates a password or an account activation link and the user has to click the link to create his own password or activate his account. WP does that out of the box, but this plugin does not seem to support it. Or…?

  • We’re having the same exact issue. We add users individually and still get this email:

    Hi,
    You’ve been invited to join [site] at
    [https://URL] with the role of Subscriber.
    If you do not want to join this site please ignore
    this email. This invitation will expire in a few days.

    Please click the following link to activate your user account:
    [link].

    Please help. We are at our wits end with this one, also having tried other hacks in other threads.
