wp-stats how to use it on a hosted package

  • Hello.
    I first tried setting up a account on wordpress.com and it does not like anything.

    I have blog1 on wp.com, and blog2 I host on my own. I want to ue the wp-stats on blog two also.

    I would like to have one login for both on WP.com and hve two different states. I would also like the stats to just apear on my blog2 without login as this or that.

    Version 1.2 gives me this info
    Error from last API Key attempt:
    The owner of that API Key (blog1 user) is not on the access list for this blog. When this blog was registered, blog2’s API key was used. To add you to the access list, blog2 must visit this blog’s stats dashboard page and use the form at the bottom of that page.

    What I read it to say and try does not work. Could someone please clearify what to do in plan english?
