WP Stats – API Key Lockout

    Hi –

    Just tried to use WordPress.com Stats. I entered my old askimet key (which I use on a number of different blogs) … anyway, after I entered it I realized you have to LOGIN to wordpress.com with that account to view the stats … which I don’t want to do with that account, so I created a new wordpress.com account for my stats and got a new API key but now I get the error:

    Error from last API Key attempt:

    The owner of that API Key (rlshow) is not on the access list for this blog. When this blog was registered, henryflower’s API key was used. To add you to the access list, henryflower must visit this blog’s stats dashboard page and use the form at the bottom of that page.

    I have tried to do what it suggests (though I find the directions confusing: I have logged into WordPress.com and gone to my stats section, but I don’t see any “form at the bottom of that page” to use.

    Can anyone help me reset my API so I can start over with the new one ?

  • Mr. Otto42, whom delights in violating ones Fourth and First, MY BLOG [1 0f 4 0r 5] is an www.remarpro.com blog. It turned it into a .com, I had not touched anything.
    The api key , albeit on the wordpress.com dash my 1 of my www.remarpro.com blogs is just…there. Ergo, as per quorum, I shall be ignored, blamed for I certainly MUST have done something or how , just how, it could never, how?, happen.
    It did and I am outta’ here for a few hours,

    been awake since 6:00 am EST, up at 10:00 am and still trying to work out all of the kinks. presumption of stupidity on our part, Otto is quite condescending, frankly between this wordpress entering my blogs and literally changing them, borders according to US Code on the illegal, yet I am sure you all know how far to push that there envelope, yeah?

    api key please, or another way to become a www.remarpro.com entirely. This blog is schizophrenic, now. I feel badly for the IVAW kids that are losing help because I do this for Nada but for the reason I care, more heroin, oxy’s and garbage because their PTSD and TBI is so bad and the VA doesn’t care, another day they take a chance. Frankly, Death Doesn’t suit 20 year olds.
