    Hi
Few days ago I tried to update my wp-statistics plugin to 4.1
But after installation, the plugin inactivated completely and said that: the plugin has been inactivated due to serious problem!!! after that, I’ve tried to delete and re-install the plugin but the result was the same!
I’ve inactivated all other plugins but didn’t work again?
    I tried v. 4.2 but I have still can’t active the plugin!
I really confused and I don’t know what to do?
    Please help me. Thanks

Sounds like perhaps you’ve hit the memory limit in PHP. Check the error log or try increasing he memory limit.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have fix the problem. Here is what I did.

I “removed” the widget form the sidebar.

I re-inserted the widget and then the “boxes” displayed again so I was able to select the boxes of choice. All went well.

Here is what happened next. I wanted to deselect a box from the newly installed widget and oops! The boxes did not display. So I repeated the deletion and insertion in order to once again gain access to the selection boxes.

All is well now.. plugin is appreciated and liked.

i have the same problem (fatal error) with the 4.2 – wordpress 3.8 – im not using WP-statistics widget…

guys I solved the problem. If anyone has the same problem as mine (fatal or serious problem error) just do the following operation ??
First go to your PHPmyadmin and select your data base. then find these 3 tables wp_statistis_visits, wp_statistics_useronline, wp_statistics_visitors. select them and then empty their content.
I did this but all my information and visits have deleted unfortunately. You can take backup from the table’s contents so you will able back them if it’s necessary (I didn’t take backup). Hope it will be useful

i saw too that there is a problem with the database tables but i didt want to loose the old data… let see if the plugin author can help us ??

If you look at the install.php file in the plugin you can find the table definitions, compare them to what is in your database and see if there is anything missing.
